Artist Profiles

Pat Ridgway's paintings reflect the natural beauty, light and energy of her garden, our forests, and the West Coast. She manages to capture their intrinsic beauty rather than just portray a flat image, and so transmits to the viewer their inner light and life. Her paintings are inspired by her love of the natural world and she is active in the environmental movement. Pat, originally from North Vancouver, now lives near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast. Ridgway has shown her work in Vancouver, Los Angeles and galleries on the Sunshine Coast. her paintings are also in collections in England, Switzerland, and Holland.
