Born in 1947 in Montreal, Quebec, J.J. has been involved in the graphic art industry for 15 years. In 1990, he moved to the sunshine coast and became a happy member of the community of Roberts Creek, being active as a musician, a gardener, a carpenter and a stained glass artist. His stained glass work brings enlightening beauty to necessary structures in many homes on the Sunshine Coast. Always being animated by a spirit of inquiry in sacred geometry, fascinated by the power of its symbolism, as well as the healing benefit of visualization, J.J. continues to work on a collection of esoteric art objects. |

THE MER-KA-BA ' Body of Light ' The Star Tetrahedron is a 3 dimensional representation of the heart chackra symbol, the place where spirit and matter meet. It is a ancient symbol of sacred geometry demonstrating the concept of the inverted energy field surrounding all form of life. For the human being it is representing the access to a state of consciousness call the 'Mer- Ka--Ba' or the 'Body of Light'. The polarities of the 'Mer-Ka-Ba', represented by the 2 inverted tetrahedrons symbolize the two great forces acting in the universe: (The Yin & Yang, male & female, sun & earth, positive & negative, etc..). From an esoteric and spiritual point of view, the development of the 'Mer-Ka-Ba' consciousness is to allow the harmonization of these two aspects of life, to recognize the unity of all things and access to insights leading to the knowledge and the creative power of the universe and finally the potential to pursue the return journey to the original Unity. |
